Poems
By Sarah Ahmad

Mutual Origin

A relevant situation defeats the objective
A core that dismantles the fight
Disruption of the necessary choice

Pursuing a disastrous run
A cut pulls out the trapped risks
An abandoned war without an end

Increased stability of the unintended block
forces the prevail of the followers.

--------------------------------------------------

Token

Opposing assistance of the lost sovereignty
A nail that divided an ally
Criticism uplifts the terror of destiny

Silver lining marks the return of a failed friend
Independence submerged in prestige
Debt of freedom eaten by loss

Forcing the expected to flee poor homes
The act swiftly flushes out the remaining peace.

-------------------------------------------------------

Collapse

Exulting in the prejudice of belief
A sign that provokes a common destruction
A cause of a free debate

Rethinking that prolonged the defeat
Critics comprehend the divided agendas
Blaming the ruthless suffering of stature

Healing incapacitates and consumes
the opposed ambition.

Sarah Ahmad lives in Pakistan. She likes to call herself a struggling poet and artist as in her world where life is so fragile, not knowing if you will return alive every time you step out of the house, getting someone to acknowledge your art is a real struggle. She hopes to do some good in the world, just don't know what yet.
