Be Careful What...

The doctors can’t understand. He looked like any of the other crash fatalities, indeed worse than most, but he was alive. Every bone and organ crushed, half his tissue mass burned, he lies in a hospital bed, alone in a secluded room. From time to time, his nearly severed head mutters, “Stupid lamp…stupid wish…”
