Sanctuary
By Lucius Rofocale
Hair knotted in the bathroom sink, blusher peppering tiles,
her instruments and accruements, scattered extensions of form - I live within her here in this apartment
embracing life incognito.
Murdering with kisses she laughs derisively at taxes and customs
skipping sleepers silence, eliciting tables and bottles of finest bourbon to be
opened.
The sanctuary of her arms rends fear slashing it to shreds; beautifully obliterated,
beautifully dead.

Lucius Rofocale was raised by wolves in the wilderness, but despite being ’rescued’ and indoctrinated as Homo-sapiens remains very feral. His work has recently appeared in the 'Clincal ... Brutal' Antholgy by Clinicality Press and 'ditch'. Among his influences are Genesis P-Orridge, Brion Gysin and William S Burroughs. Lucius desires to attack the cultural, social, religious and political Status Quo and have fun doing it. He can be reached at luciusrofocale@live.com.

alive and dead in sanctuary... much like life itself.
