your mother’s mother’s mother’s mother’s
desk
tap-tip of heels
lead heels
the bangles on the lampshade
the roll
the thrust
the paving-plow of men and women
lost in life
lost in dance
staring into eyes
staring into baby’s eyes
staring into the future.
End
then staring into nothing.
staring into shame
